AVEDA Skin Care was my Perfect Match!

Okay ladies! I know most of us struggle with properly caring for our skin, and that we are constantly on the look out for the best skin care/cleaning products for all of our skin types. Some of us have either dry, oily and or acne prone skin types, which most skin care systems do not cater to. After trying different skin care regimens, I've discovered that not all skin care systems are made to satisfy all of our different needs. So, for the last 2 months I've tried 2 different skin care products to help alleviate my oily acne prone skin. 1. The Body Shop: Tea Tree Skin Care System and 2. The AVEDA Outer Peace Skin Care System. After reading reviews on both products, I had to test out both to see which one would be the best system for my oily acne prone skin. First, I used The Body Shop: Tea Tree Skin Care system. Their system had a facial cleanser, a toner, a day/night cream lotion, and a weekly skin mask to help minimize pores, oily skin and acne blemishes. The entire system can be found at any ULTA beauty location near you, and you can even use your rewards and coupons to get a special discount if purchasing. Unfortunately, this skin care system did nothing but irritate my skin and cause redness in my t-zone areas. I tried this tea tree system for 30 days and did not see any improvements with my skin.

Next, I tried AVEDA. AVEDA has an amazing store near where I live. When I went into their store to inquire about their skin care products, I noticed that they give free 20-minute facials to all new prospective clients to test which skin care system best fits your skin. Before I received my facial, I was asked about my skin history. Since I have oily acne prone skin, I was told the Outer Peace Skin Care system would be the best match for me, and it was! The Out Peace Skin system comes with a foaming cleanser, toner pads, cool acne relief lotion, and a weekly cooling mask. I've seen a huge difference in my skin. I no longer have the redness or irritation after cleasning my skin. AVEDA offers skin care systems for all skin types.
