Ending a Sophisticated Summer

On these last days of Summer, I really wanted to enjoy the summer weather along with the fashion before Fall begins. On a weekday trip to the city, Skye and I spent the day in the famous Hyde Park area in Chicago. I absolutely love this neighborhood located on the shores of Chicago. The University of Chicago is located near the Hyde Park area. Also, President Barack Obama's Chicago residence is located in this sophisticated neighborhood. Hyde Park has many things you can enjoy from shopping at the local stores like Akira of Hyde Park and other chic boutiques. There are cute little italian ristorantes and ice cream shops for family fun days or romantic evenings. The Promontory sits on Lake Park Avenue in this area and is a hit for the locals. This is one of my favorite places to go for a fun girls night or for an after 5pm refresher.

The Fashion

Skye and I are both wearing rompers with matching fringe cross body bags. We love the distressed fringe look with our black and white patterns in the rompers. My romper is a Michael by Michael Kors piece from the Summer 2015 collection. My booties are from ALDO and are called the Malina. The fringe cross bodies are from H&M. Sunglasses from eyechic.com. Skye's romper came from Old Navy and so did her gladiator sandals. Her sunglasses are from J.Crew Factory for girls.
